I MATTEr - youth mental Health awareness Campaign
Overview
Following the pandemic, Colorado’s teenagers were struggling with their mental health. The Department of Health came to us seeking a campaign that would encourage young people to sign up for free therapy sessions.
My Role
I developed the creative strategy of writing in a vulnerable, first-person style, putting forward common, relatable reasons why someone in our age range (12-19) might seek therapy. A colorful palette paired with friendly animations made the campaign a resounding success, leading to a renewal of the contract and an expansion of work. Over the 2+ years we’ve worked on this, we’ve created hundreds of social ads, pamphlets, school banners, connected TV ads, posters, flyers, and emails.
